Christopher MacCabe - (actra caea uda)

Christopher MacCabe - a fine mix of Clint Eastwood & Sean Connery with a dash of Gary Cooper has worked with Lorraine Bracco, Sir Derek Jacobi, John Malkovich, Steven Berkoff, Molly Parker, Greta Scacchi, Dash Mihok, Armand Assanti, Mitch Pileggi and many others.

Debuting on the stage in ’83 with Dramatis Personae & the Studio Theatre Workshop; Christopher went on to The Banff Centre, School of Fine Arts followed by study with Lily Parker & Peter Flood from the famous Actor’s Studio of New York. He joined the world renowned Warren Robertson Workshop in 1990, he is now a Lifetime Member. Christopher attended The Toronto Film School in Film & Television Production at the CBC 2004 to develop his love for storytelling. He has also studied The Method, Meisner, The British Technique & has participated in workshops on the teachings of Stella Adler and Uta Hagen.

Over the years Christopher has been on screens at TIFF - in the Best Film Category “A Hero’s Life” he played the lead role under the direction of Micheline Lanctot;  a supporting role in the premiere of “Ladies Room” directorial debut of Gabriella Cristiani; a supporting role in “Winter Lily”; and a contributing role in “Love, Sex and Eating the Bones” – winner of the prestigious: CityTV Award for Best Canadian First Feature Film.

Christopher MacCabe is a highly sought after Accent/Audition Coach. He is also a carpenter and has a strong green thumb - building with rock & wood. Christopher spent 7 years of his life at sea working as a Merchant Marine. He is developing a script(s) about this chapter.
