David Tyler (actra)

David Tyler is the network voice of CTV News. His voice is bold, youthful and commanding.  He can be heard daily on its affiliates across the country including - Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa and Montréal his home town. He is also the voice of CTV’s W5, CTV Newschannel, Canada AM and on CTV National News nightly. 

Throughout his 25+ year career David’s voice has appeared in local, regional and national commercials for Subaru, Benjamin Moore Paints, Mobilia, Brand Source, R.W. Baird and countless others. He has voiced corporate and training videos for Boeing, Johnson & Johnson, NAPA, Glaxo Smith Klein, Easton and the NCAA. Also a featured voice for video games NFL 2011-14, Derek Jeter Baseball and Adibou Découvre l’Anglais. His cartoon voice work has included Arthur, Caillou and Mona the Vampire. 

A Concordia University graduate with a BA in Communications. He was a 20 year mainstay of Montréal radio, first on MIX 96 and then Q92 and The Beat. 

He works primarily out of his personal home recording studio using Source-Connect technology but is available to come to a studio of your choice.
