Karl Graboshas (actra caea uda-s)

Karl Graboshas is a fluently bilingual actor in both English and French; the origins of his family name is Lithuanian. Most recently Karl has had recurring roles on CBS’ Blood & Treasure, as well as Radio Canada’s Faits Divers 2, along with a series regular on Radio Canada’s Discussions avec mes parents.

Recent film work has seen him onscreen with Ben Stiller in Brad’s Status, with Felicity Jones in On The Basis of Sex and with Colm Feore in Bon Cop Bad Cop 2.

His favorite film experience to date was working with Jay Baruchel, Seann William Scott, Liev Shreiber, Marc André Grondin, and George Tchortov (to name a few) on the Canadian-made hockey films Goon, and Goon The Last of The Enforcers.

Karl has worked with many of Montreal’s major theatre companies including Centaur Theatre, Segal Center, Black Theatre Workshop, Infinitheatre, Repercussion Theatre, Geordie Theatre, and Theatre Lac Brome.  Karl has also toured to Ottawa’s National Arts Center and Toronto’s Factory Theatre with Black Theatre Workshop’s production of Angélique, and has performed onstage in Los Angeles, Washington, and Chicago while touring with Starvox’s production of Sherlock Holmes.
 
When not performing, Karl shares his passion running his own selftaping and coaching studio, and has become one of Montreal’s most sought after acting and audition coaches. Karl is currently mentoring a handful of this city’s most talented up and coming young actors.

Karl lives in Montréal with his wife, his son, and the family cat. As well as living in Montreal, he also once spent three years calling Toronto home. Karl is a huge sports fan, as well as an avid reader of fiction, fantasy, science fiction, comic books and graphic novels.
