Erika Rosenbaum (actra)

Born in rural Quebec, Erika began her career on stage as a ballet dancer. Her first leading role was as Clara in the Christmas classic The Nutcracker. When she was 8 years old she convinced her parents to take her to meet with an agent in the city. She has been working as a performer ever since. After a short hiatus to focus on her studies, she moved to Los Angeles to develop relationships south of the border. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Concordia University (Montreal, Qc.) and has trained with teachers from the Stratford Conservatory in Ontario, York University, and the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York.

Erika has had the opportunity to work with incredible artists from both sides of the border: Great Canadian directors such as Atom Egoyan (Where the Truth Lies, The Sweet Hereafter) as well as American film "royalty" Tony Goldwyn and New York actor/writer/director Chazz Palminteri (A Bronx Tale). She has also worked with the brilliant Paul MgGuigan (Wicker Park) and rising star Jacob Tierney (The Trotsky).

A modern renaissance woman, Erika still dances contemporary and ballroom, practices yoga and loves to surf and run. She is active in her community, empowering youth and leading environmental initiatives.
