Samantha Levy has been acting, singing and dancing since the age of five and performing live theatre since 2006. Among the plays at the Segal Centre are Cat on a Hot Tin Roof directed by Greg Kramer and No More Raisins, No More Almonds with Bryna Wasserman. She was directed by Ellen David in Love, Loss and What I Wore at Centaur. Television and film credits include a series regular in 18 to Life and a lead in the Nickelodeon pilot Anne`s Droids. Samantha has also performed with William Shatner at the Just for Laughs gala.

As a child, she performed as a lead vocalist at Montreal’s International Jazz Festival and sang in PBS’ Christmas concert. As a teen, she has been both lead vocalist and actor in the Musical Show Off productions for 3 years including a mashup of Wicked in which she played Elphaba.

Samantha enjoys giving back to the community. She is particularly motivated by benefitting other children. She continues to perform locally in a one-woman concert at senior homes and has performed for “Free the Children”, the Montreal Children`s Hospital Ball and has helped raise money singing for St. Justine Hospital.

Her long term goal is to perform on Broadway. She is steadily working towards achieving that goal with private training in acting, singing and dancing. Recently, she attended an intensive scene study in Shakespeare and Musical Theatre at The Stratford Festival Shakespeare School.

In addition to her love of - all things performance - Samantha is going for her brown belt in Karate, is a two-time gold medalist in the Montreal Science Fair and is a talented writer having won several essay competitions (McEntyre, Commonwealth, Barreau). No doubt her true passion lies on the stage and she aims to be a full time performer in the near future.
