Julie Trépanier (actra, caea, uda)

Since graduating from the National Theatre School of Canada in 2013, Julie's work has been seen on stages across the country. Originally from Québec, Julie spent 12 years in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. While on the west coast she completed the Musical Theatre Diploma program at Capilano University.

Julie had the honour of being awarded two Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards - Outstanding performance by an actress in a supporting role: Large Theatre for À toi, pour toujours, ta Marie-Lou, the other for Outstanding Artistic Achievementfor her role as Lily in Selfie. She is also the recipient of the Prix Power Corporation 2016 which granted her the opportunity of taking a professional development residency in Bilbao, Spain.

She is perfectly bilingual. This has shaped her career path and continues to do so in a very enriching way. Julie’s theatrical influences range from art clownesque to documentary theatre. Her artistic pursuits - in any medium - have always been rooted in a desire to shed light on what unites us all as a species.
